We started off by researching the business and getting to the core of their service offering. The vision of the organisation is ‘to be preferred experts and the most trusted provider of people-based services for the customers we serve and markets we choose to work in.’
From this we came up with the proposition statement ‘Developing Exceptional People’. This reflected their values of delivering a ‘promise-based culture’ and being their customers ‘sector-based experts’. This new proposition is also tied to their existing mission statement of ’empowering passionate people to deliver exceptional outcomes’.
The next phase was to create a new visual language style. We took the curve element of the existing logo, streamlined it and evolved it into a wave which is used as a way of framing the main messaging. We also selected people focussed photography, introduced a new headline font and created a new colour palette that acts as a highlight colour for the sectors in which Carlisle Support Services operates. This all came together in a new set of guidelines which we designed and delivered to the client.
While creating the guidelines, we rolled out the visual styling onto a number of templates that we supplied to the client to roll out their literature suite internally. These included stationery, case study templates, tender documents, brochures, folders and electronic collateral including Word, PowerPoint and email templates.
Since rolling this out, we have also worked with Carlisle Support Services to implement the new visual language styling on their online and social media platforms. This resulted in us designing several page templates for their new website which was built by their internal digital team.
