New campaign, creative and artwork for Henley College Coventry

Each educational term, we develop a campaign for Henley College Coventry to drive enrolment, keep potential students interested and deliver the Course Directory. For the 2016/17 term, we were asked to come up with a creative campaign that worked as hard on their social channels as well as in print.

The current Ofsted criteria requires that all learners should have a clear aim of where they want to progress, whether that be onward to further education, applying for an apprenticeship or straight into full-time employment.

The new campaign needed to reflect this. It’s not all about how future learners can succeed with Henley, but also demonstrating how previous learners have already succeeded. We identified quickly that the campaign needed to ask questions of it’s audience. What career path will you choose? What life skills can you learn? What will be your next step?

With this in mind, we took the idea of ‘progression’ and created a campaign called ‘Choose Your Path’ which uses visual signposts for courses and highlights a learners potential progression from that course allowing them to make a more informed choice of which path to choose.

We rolled the creative out onto course guides, flyers and posters as well as indoor and outdoor displays. We also pushed the campaign on Henley’s website and social media channels using the hashtag #chooseyourpath

The next wave of collateral for the campaign was a series of displays and leaflets to promote the College’s Open Evening which was held in October 2015. A large outdoor banner was produced near the entrance to the college to raise awareness in the local area and a series of flyers that were handed out during the evening to showcase the courses available at the college. We also produced graphics for their website and social media channels.
