Our first job was to create an eye catching brochure for the awards ceremony which also needed to be made available electronically as an accessible pdf. A neutral colour pallet of yellow and grey were used to create a 32-page brochure with a clean layout that is on brand but still conforms to accessibility standards.
At the same time, were asked to create an infographic which highlighted the 5 steps organisations need to go through to achieve disability confidence. We designed the infographic in a clear and informative way which broke down and clearly highlighted each individual step creating a graphic for each element. These graphic elements were later used on other collateral including the awards brochure.
As part of our collateral package for the venue for the awards ceremony, we created all of the winners and highly commended certificates to be presented at the awards ceremony. We also created a pull up display for use at the entrance to the venue and on the main stage.
With a 44% increase in entries compared to last year, the awards ceremony was a huge success.
The recruitment industry’s only disability awards. Nearly 7 million people of working age in the UK have a disability but the employment rate for disabled people lags well behind non-disabled people. Only 46% of working age disabled people are in employment compared to 76% of working age non-disabled people – representing a gap of around two million.
"It has been a pleasure working with Chemical Code on developing branded materials including; banners, certificates and brochures for the RIDI Awards 2015. The team were flexible, prompt and had a high attention to detail, which made for a really positive experience."
