A+A Düsseldorf 2015 Exhibition Graphics, Literature and Video Content for Capital Safety

A+A is the world's largest and most important specialist trade fair for all aspects of safety and security. It is also Capital Safety’s (a 3M company) largest presence at a European fall protection show. Chemical Code have supported Capital Safety for several years producing all of the large format graphics, as well as designing point of display for various product showcases, video content used throughout the stand and all of the literature being given out. For the 2015 show, the overall stand size was increased to a double decker.

There were several creative challenges presented to us with this stand. One of which was how to display all of the fall protection for tools products (some of which were in small packs of 10) without leaving them loose to get all mixed up on the display area. We came up with a bespoke display area which had easy reach compartments which were clearly labeled for each and every product. This made these products easy for visitors to see and easy for the Capital Safety staff who were on the stand to restock.

We produced numerous videos to display product information, demo times and branding. The screens were situated at the reception desk, product showcase areas and in the first floor bar/break out areas. The demo video was used to communicate the various product demonstration times throughout the day, the product videos highlighting the features and benefits of the new products as well as ensuring all of the product brands were displayed.

As part of the stand, we set up a demonstration area for Python Safety (which was was acquired by Capital Safety in 2015). We rolled out literature and video showreels to support the ‘Stop the Drop’ campaign which is all about ensuring workers tools are safe when working at height. The videos were produced in 9 languages.

In August 2015, 3M completed their aquisition of Capital Safety. We are now integrating Capital Safety’s EMEA marketing output with 3M’s. 3M’s Personal Safety business provides respiratory and hearing protection solutions that help improve the safety and security of workers. The business also supplies products and solutions in other safety categories such as reflective materials for high-visibility apparel, protective clothing and eyewear, among others.
