A new brand and visual language for Unity Automotive

Unity Automotive approached Chemical Code towards the end of 2014 at a busy time in their journey, we had originally created their identity when they were a single garage site based in Tredington near Stratford. Now a five dealership business with sites in Coventry, Tredington, Peterborough, Leicester and Oxford, Unity had outgrown their current branding and needed an approach that was scaleable, professional and from a company who can offer creative marketing ideas, artwork and digital in house.

In early 2015, Unity acquired a the Jeep & Alfa Romeo dealership near Oxford (the largest Jeep dealership in the UK). As part of the relaunch of the site, we creating direct mailers, adverts and bespoke emails inviting new and existing customers to the launch weekend.

We continue to support Unity Automotive with all of their creative and artworking requirements including direct mailers, customised email templates and personalised letters which are specifically tailored to target new and existing customers. This includes producing a wide range of collateral for a number of special events and car launches for all five dealerships.

As part of our ongoing support, Unity asked us to design a range of literature to promote a Used Car event covering all five locations. We designed an eye catching campaign with adverts which ran in the local press, web banners on Autotrader plus supporting posters and email graphics.

The event was a huge success with record vehicles sold.

Over the last 30 years, Unity Automotive has become one of the most successful Subaru and Isuzu dealers in the UK, winning virtually every manufacturers award possible. Unity Automotive is now able to offer a wide range of vehicles across 8 brands but still retains those important values that their first dealership near Stratford-Upon-Avon was built on.
